Happy Monday! I hope your Monday didn’t suck too much ahaha! I spent the whole day binging criminal mind..whoops. I have a busy busy week coming up, but it’ll all be worth it because Christmas is a week away!!! I’m currently in the middle of a huge breakout so please excuse that my skin doesn’t look the best right now.
Today I am collaborating with the amazingly talented Mali! She has created a beautiful bold, glam, red lip look! It’s perfect for the holiday season! If you aren’t into the whole glam scene, but you want to wear a red lip, then the natural red lip look I created is for you! For some reason red lips are a look that scare most away. It shouldn’t be like that at all! Red lips are a classic and super easy to wear! Whenever I wear a red lip my confidence boosts, and I can’t stop smiling! Keep on reading to find out how I got this simple, fun, and easy red lip holiday look!
➝ Smashbox Pore Filling Primer ⋮ I used this all over my face. I started at the T-Zone and blended outward from there.
➝ Too Faced Born This Way Foundation in Nude ⋮ I then went on to take my foundation on a Beauty Blender (to get more of a natural finish) and blended the foundation all over my face. As well as blending it down my neck.
➝ Mac Pro Long Wear Concealer in NW15 ⋮ I took this concealer and applied it with the Beauty Blender under my eyes, a bit on my cupids bow, as well as on the center of my nose and chin.
➝ Tarte Tartiest Pro Glow Palette in the Cream Contour ⋮ I took this on a small brush and applied it to my cheekbones, my nose, under my lip, to my temples, and in the crease of my eye to help give a bit of definition.
➝ RCMA No-Color Powder ⋮ I took this on a small tapered face brush all over to set everything! I first set my eyes, and under eyes, and then worked outward from there.
➝ Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder in Golden Light ⋮ Of course I used my favorite Bronzer! I took this on the same brush I used to powder and went over the same spots I contoured in. I also took this along my jaw line, and blended down.
➝ NARS Blush in Goulue ⋮ I took this gorgeous pink with hints of gold blush and applied it to the apples of my cheeks, and blended back.
➝ The Balm’s Mary Lou-Manizer Highlighter ⋮ Natural makeup doesn’t mean no glow, just more subtle. I took a different small tampered brush and applied it to the tops on my cheekbones and blended back.
➝ Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper ⋮ I just did a simple baby cat eye. Don’t be fooled this took me the longest time, about 10 minutes!
➝ Tarte Tartiest Mascara in Black ⋮ I applied a few coats of this mascara! I also curled my lashes before hand.
BROWS & LIPS:
➝ ABH Clear Brow Gel ⋮ This is all I used in my brows. I wanted to keep it natural!
➝ ABH Pro Lip Palette in the Red ⋮ I took this color on a lip brush and applied it all over my lips.
➝ Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in Clear ⋮ I took some of this on the lip brush and spread it over my lips, and then blotted.
➝ Cat Ears ⋮ These super cute Jingle Bell Cat Ears are from Francesca’s!
➝ Fuzzy Off White Sweater ⋮ This is from Arie! It’s so soft and cozy! It is a cropped sweater, I got it on sale a few weeks ago!
➝ Earrings ⋮ I honestly cannot remember where I got these from, maybe Francesca’s?
Here’s a couple of cute selfies from the look too!
