Hey everyone!
I hope you all had an amazing Thursday! I’m sorry for my lack of posting this week. I came down with a stomach bug the other day. I just decided to relax and not stress about getting a post up. I hope you all can understand that. As for today, it has been a busy day! I started my day off with a doctors appointment. I then went to Target, and then to the grocery store. Ugghhh adulting. I got home and did emails and more boring adult things, and did this makeup look! I decided to cook for my family tonight. I found this recipe on Pinterest and decided to make it… It said “30 minutes total”. It took me almost 3 hours hahahaha!!!! I didn’t have any help and I for the life of me could chop anything. But all said and done it was good!! I’ll leave the link here if you’d like to try it out yourself.
I was definitely feeling inspired by it being February today! I decided I wanted to do my first Valentines Day makeup look! I just started applying color and blending. I didn’t even really have a plan as to what I was doing. I love the way it turned out!!! I used some new products as well as some different techniques! And these lashes ughhh I LOVE THEM!! I think they might be my favorite pair! I used a lot of different shades (and blending) to achieve this look, so be prepared! Without further ado, If you’d like to find out how I did this look then keep on reading!
THE LOOK:
EYES:
➝ Smashbox 24 HR Eye Primer (whats new lol)
➝ RCMA No-Color Powder to set that in place ⋮ This is an extra step. I don’t always set this primer because you don’t really need to. However, I just really wanted the colors to pop!
➝ Morphe x J.Hill Palette ⋮ It has been a hot minute since I used this one!
⤷ Silk Creme + M.F.E.O. ⋮ As my base and first transition color
⤷ Creamsicle + Butter ⋮ As my second transition shade. I focused more on the crease and blended up and outwards
⤷ Hunts ⋮ I applied this in my crease and blended it outwards. As well as on my outer lid
➝ ABH Modern Renaissance Palette
⤷ Love Letter ⋮ I blended this into my outer crease as well as onto my lid
⤷ Ventian Red + Red Ochre ⋮ I went over the spots where I put Love Letter to deepen it up a bit
⤷ Cyprus Umber ⋮ Just to Give a bit more definition to the outer lash line
➝ Megan Malone Beauty glitter in Bloom ⋮ OMG YOU GUYS. These are a new product that I am lucky enough to try out. They are amazing in every way! And Megan is an Absolute Sweetheart! Check out her Website here!
➝ Inglot Gel Liner in #77 ⋮ I lined my eyes with this, and did a small wing. I also made sure to tight line my upper lash line so there wasn’t a white line
➝ Cyprus Umber ⋮ Swept on my lower lash line
➝ Tarte Tartiest Pro Mascara
➝ House Of Lashes Lashes in Boudoir
➝ House Of Lashes Lash Glue
FACE:
➝ Cover FX Primer in Green for Acne
➝ Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in Fair/Light ⋮ I applied this to all the spots you would highlight
➝ Make Up For Ever HD Foundation in R530 ⋮ I used this shade to contour and then blended both colors together to create a foundation! I used a Beauty Blender to blend it all out
➝ RCMA No-Color Powder
➝ Bobbi Brown Bronzer in Golden light
➝ Tarte Blush in Blushing Bride
➝ Tarte Tartiest Pro Highlighter in Stunning (I believe haha!)
BROWS & LIPS:
➝ ABH Dip Brow in Taupe
➝ ABH Clear Brow Gel
➝ Too Faced Liquid Lipstick in Cool Girl
That’s it! I hope you like this look as much as I do!! I will see you all on Saturday with another post!
